Lviv International Literature Festival

The Lviv International Literature Festival is the only literary festival in Ukraine that has steadily climbed in its international reputation since beginning in 1997. The festival creates ideal conditions for promoting Ukrainian writers in the West and for hosting international writers and exposing them to a Ukrainian audience. Apart from literature, the festival lends its platform to other forms of art, including the experimental, and to alls kinds of cultural initiatives. This may be the reason why festival guests include not only writers, poets and artists, but also cultural activists, scientists, and translators from all over the world.
