Love, Motion & Machines: A Workshop on Dance, Technology, and Interactive Installation
When: March 28, 15.00-17.00
Where: Stranger Cafe
Creator and host - art director of Panel Literature Associaton, multimedia artist Maria Gyarmati
We often think of technology as something distant or purely functional. But what if it could become a medium for expressing human emotion?
In this workshop we explore how movement, dance, and simple digital tools can come together to create interactive art.
Participants will experiment with translating body movements and emotional gestures into digital reactions — light, sound, visuals, or spatial responses — forming a collaborative interactive installation. Through playful exercises and guided experimentation, we will explore how technology can become a sensitive extension of the body, rather than a barrier between people.
No technical or dance experience is required.
Only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to move.
Required donation - 4000 HUF.
Capacity of the group - 10 people maximum.
