Following February Panel Practices, we are happy to invite you to March sessions of the series.
When: March 22, 11.00-16.00
Where: around Budapest
Creator and host - artist, illustrator and art teacher Olga Lo

This special 5-hour workshop is designed as a relaxed urban sketching experience for anyone who wants to discover the city in a new way. No drawing experience is required.
We will walk through a few beautiful locations in the city, starting at the iconic Ruin Bar of Budapest, continuing to Café Kepen, and finishing the day sketching around the neighborhood (detailed locations will be sent to participants).
This workshop is especially welcoming for expats and creative people who want to feel more connected to the city and meet others through a shared artistic experience.
Urban sketching can become a way to explore Budapest, create meaningful memories and turn ordinary moments into small personal adventures.
You will learn:
• how to start and keep a travel sketchbook
• how to make quick, expressive sketches in cafés and public spaces
• how to build simple compositions without stress
• how to combine drawings with photos, tickets, stamps and small memories from the day

During the workshop you will learn how to use drawing as a simple, portable hobby that easily fits into everyday life. Urban sketching does not require complicated equipment or professional skills. A small sketchbook and a pencil are enough to start seeing the city differently.
Urban sketching is not only a creative hobby. It is also a way to connect with the city.
Through drawing and observation you begin to notice details, feel more comfortable exploring new places and build a personal relationship with the environment around you.
