Narratives of Hungary – Autumn Launch

For the autumn launch of “Narratives of Hungary”, we have put together a program built around personal memories, the perception of places we visited and never forgot, and the stories we carry through life. Together with the contributors and interviewees from the book, we will talk about how memories influence creative work, how people we meet shape the stories we tell, and what stays with us indefinitely. The evening will also include photographs from the book on display.

The “Narratives of Hungary” collection took over two years of travel, conversations, and fieldwork. Through essays, interviews and personal stories, our contributors explored Hungary through its people, places, culture, traditions and everyday life. Following “Narratives of Budapest”, the new volume takes the journey beyond the capital.

The event is free to attend. The books will be available for purchase.

September 29, 7:00 PM – Kastner Kommunity (1081 Budapest, II. János Pál pápa tér 8)
