“We go to some lengths to select diverse and interesting voices that we believe are worthy of a wider audience” (Duncan Robertson, the Panel's editor in chief).
“In such a linguistically, thematically and stylistically diverse collection of art and literature it is unlikely that anyone will find everything to their taste – and Panel gives no indication of trying to play safe or conservative – but this makes every page a surprise and a revelation.” (Tom Sneddon, Hungarian Literature Online).
“She was the worst driver he had ever actually seen driving. “Pongo pongo pongo pongo pongo,” said the car antenna, when she backed the rear wheels into a ditch and stalled. “Sorry,” she said.” (“Split”, Andrew Singer, the winner of the Ruritania prize).
Panel is a magazine of fiction, poetry, non-fiction and the arts, currently being produced in Central and Eastern Europe and originally written in English or translated into English.
Kastner Kommunity is a café, community- and workspace, and gallery, located in the heart of the 8th district.
We'll be happy to see you at the event!
