The issue #11 is almost here!

The issue #11 of Panel is out on November, 18.
You can now pre-order a copy already now via our website.

Those who are in Budapest can grab a copy at "Legend of Ethereal Budapest: Unveiling Stories from the Underground" festival next Saturday at Szimpla Kert. The digital version of the magazine will become available on the same day.
Meanwhile, there is something important we'd like to share with you.

Panel Magazine begun as a passion project and it has remained one for its nearly six years of publication. We’ve published some truly great stuff in our magazine, and the issue that you are holding in your hands attests to that. It contains a lot of contemporary poetry, plenty of new prose, visual art, as well as promotional teasers for our upcoming book about the independent arts and culture scene in Budapest.

It's been a long run for one independent lit mag, and we’ve decided we should take a breather. It’s time to reconsider our project’s goals and our approach to them. We don't know yet what the outcome of these contemplations will be, but we’re sure they’ll lead us somewhere new and exciting.

That means we won't be publishing Panel for a while, and we won't be accepting new submissions. However, in the foreseeable future you can expect us to announce new festivals, art shows and books produced by the Panel Literature Association that continues its operation.

We are enormously grateful to all the readers who have been with Panel through the years, and we hope you will remain with us.

This all makes the upcoming issue just a tiny bitter-sweet, but also - valuable and unique. Although, all issues of Panel are unique.

Thank you for reading it!
